Capewell uses a manufacturing process that ensures high-quality end product strip springs and wire springs. The product range includes roll springs, constant force springs, power springs and shelf pushers. The wire spring range includes compression springs, tension springs, torsion springs, wire forms, brick cutting wires and underwire for underwear and swimwear. These are all manufactured quickly and efficiently. This established manufacturer has been producing springs and wire forms since 1981.  Three basic steps are applied when building springs. The wire is first straightened and coiled according to the specifications of the customer. The coiling process subjects the spring to stress. A heating and cooling process is then used to make the spring retain its form. The final process is finishing where the spring is grinded, set, coated and packaged. The spring is coated in zinc or chromium to ensure strength.

Springs are made to achieve their purpose of being a flexible machine element that stores mechanical energy when subjected to tensile, compressive, bending or torsional forces. Capewell is an experienced spring manufacturer and offers extensive capability in the production of custom components. Springs can be ordered in large or small quantities and custom designed.
